Open Air Crafters' Market:

This year, Queens County Seafest will be hosting an Outdoor Crafters Market on Saturday, August 28, beginning at 11 a.m. near the gazebo in The Waterfront Park, Brooklyn.

An assortment of items will be featured including:
Photography, Sea Glass and other types of jewelry, Paintings, Ocean Crafts, Wooden Crafts, Sewing, Knitting, Walking Sticks, etc!

All local Queens County Crafters!!!

Stop by and "sea" us when you visit the 10th Annual Queens County Seafest!

Draw date is Sunday August 29rd at the Awards Ceremony

Each team will consist of 6 people, 3 per boat with a shorter distance to go. Entrance for this event is to sell 50 tickets on a gift basket worth over $500 consisting of the following:

A night stay at the Morton House (incl breakfast)

Flowers from the Mosspot,

dinner for 2 at Lane's Privateer Inn,

$50 Gift Certificate from NSLC,

Tickets for 2 to a movie of your choice form the Astor Theatre,

Manicure from the Polished Spa,

Pedicure from Treasures Day Spa,

Massage from 5th Sense,

Massage from Barb Dorey RMT,

Haircut from Rick Henneberry

and a Gift basket from Reynolds Pharmachoice.

Rules:

Every team must supply their own life jackets and they must be worn.

No one under the age of 16.

No Alcohol in the boats.

Each team must sell their 50 tickets and return them to the chairperson by Saturday August 21.

If for any reason a participant falls out of the boat the team is disqualified.

Every team must have a Captain.

All charities must be from Queens County.



To make each team distinct, we are asking each team to wear same colored t-shirts or hats or you can pick a theme associated with your team.

We hope that you will have fun as well as make some money for your charity. The winning team with receive 50% of the net Profit from the ticket sales to donate to their charity. 2nd Place team will receive 30% and 3rd Place team will receive 20%.

Sunday. August 29 beginning at 4 pm at the Brooklyn Marina.

$15 per person.

Tickets available from the Marina Canteen, Veinot's Print, liverpool Heating & Appliances & any Seafest Committee Member.

We are giving away 3 chances to win 2 tickets to the Planked Salmon Supper being held at Queens County Seafest on Sunday Aug 29 at 4pm. 

Answer the following 3 questions and you could win 2 tickets for the Planked Salmon Supper sponsored by The True North Salmon Company :

3. How many new things are on offer at Seafest this year, according to our posters or the Queens County Seafest website?

Rules:
1. Send your answers via email to info@queenscountyseafest.ca or call them in to the Seafest headquarters at Brooklyn Marina on 902-354-4028, If no answer, you can leave your answers on the message machine.
2. All correct entries will be entered in the draw.
3. The draw will take place at 6:30pm on Friday Aug 27 at Seafest in the entertainment tent. 
4. You must be present at the draw in order to collect your tickets. Draws will continue until we have 3 winners present.
5. The contest starts at 12 noon on Friday Aug 20 and ends at 12 noon on  Friday Aug 27.
